The selected candidates will be appointed as Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ in Level 10 of the Pay Matrix with a minimum basic pay of ₹56,100 per month. DA, HRA and Transport Allowance are also applicable according to prevailing rules.

Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning

BE/B.Tech or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering with Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or allied subjects as electives/core subjects in any semester, along with minimum 65% marks or 6.84 CGPA and valid GATE score in ME paper.

Architecture

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture with minimum 65% marks or 6.84 CGPA and valid registration certificate from the Council of Architecture. A valid GATE score in Architecture & Planning – AR is required.

Important Qualification Rule

Candidates must have completed their graduation within the prescribed duration of the course as specified by the concerned university. Also, where only CGPA is mentioned, candidates must meet ISRO/DOS’s prescribed CGPA requirement; the notification does not permit converting CGPA into percentage merely for determining eligibility.

Age Limit

ISRO Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ Recruitment 2026 के लिए maximum age 28 years as on 17 August 2026 निर्धारित की गई है। Government employees, SC/ST, OBC and PwBD candidates को applicable Government of India rules के अनुसार age relaxation मिल सकती है, wherever posts are reserved.

The notification specifies that UR/EWS candidates should be born on or after 18 August 1998, OBC candidates on or after 18 August 1995, and SC/ST candidates on or after 18 August 1993, subject to the applicable rules.

Salary and Allowances

Selected candidates will be appointed as Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ in Level 10 of the Pay Matrix.

The minimum basic pay is:

Selection Process
